Ramatian Tapon is a video podcast variety show that features modern Shipibo artists expressing traditional roots alongside wisdom keepers of traditional expressions of art, music, and culture.

Shipibo culture is rich with traditional song, dance, ritual, embroidered and painted art, ceramics, woven fabrics. There are also many modern artists who weave traditional roots into current expressions of music, painting, dance, and more.
We've put together a variety show that includes 26 episodes in its first season, featuring interviews with these modern artists as well as traditional wisdom keepers. Our intentions are to inspire Shipibo youth to find their own expressions connected to their roots, and to conserve and disentangle pieces of tradition that are still very alive.
We are Oni Xobo, an intercultural organization based in Pucallpa, Peru, the home of the Shipibo people. We work to investigate, design, and implement creative projects related to conservation of culture, medicine, and environment, and Ramatian Tapon - Raices Actuales - Modern Roots is one of those projects.
We've been fortunate to receive generous funding from the Femtheogen Collaborative, and with your support we want to keep working on this first season, including translations and subtitles, and transform this first season into an ongoing show, diving deeper into the pieces of history and modern expression to put together a beautiful and inspiring collection.
